This clutch was made using a flower print fabric with a white plain lining, a magnetic fastening, and a lace trim, for a friend as a birthday gift. Magnetic fastenings are so much easier than zips, which I have yet to master.
That is very pretty little bag and a wonderful gift for a friend. I have been sewing for awhile but still havent mastered zips. I was thinking of joining a little sewing class at a local fabric shop...maybe there is one near you that you could try?
thankyou! Its by far the best bag I've ever made, and I will definately use the ruffley lace on something else. There are some good tutorials around for how to make pencil cases or pouches so I am planning to attempt one of those first, and then maybe look for classes in my local area :)
